Professional Background
Theekshana commenced his career as an Associate at PwC, Sri Lanka, and thereafter he underwent training on quantity surveying at Cost Consultancy Services (Pvt) Ltd.
Prior to joining TWC in January 2022, he was the Head of Asset Management/New Business Development of the Property Sector of John Keells Holdings PLC as an Assistant Vice President. He held progressive responsibilities in the areas of business/strategic planning, project operations, and asset management during his 13 years at the John Keells Property Sector. Being a key member of the management team in the sector, he was involved in all the property development projects undertaken by John Keells post-2009 with project and transactions valued over USD 1 billion, including the iconic mix-development project “Cinnamon Life”.
Educational Background
Theekshana is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the UK and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Additionally, he has earned a Diploma of Higher Education in Quantity Surveying and Building Economics from the University of Reading, UK
