Professional Background

Charith's professional journey includes over 7 years at NDB Investment Bank, where he led transaction teams in diverse assignments including IPOs, M&As, corporate restructuring, and other fund raising and financial advisory projects in Sri Lanka and in the Maldives. He was notably involved in the IPOs of hSenid Business Solutions PLC, R I L Property PLC, LCB Finance PLC in Sri Lanka, and the Maldives Islamic Bank Plc in the Maldives. He has also led transaction teams in multiple M&As in the financial, tea, automobile, food and beverage and education sectors. His contributions also extend to strategic initiatives, including the development of a defined contribution pension scheme in Sri Lanka benefiting over 3,500 employees and other corporate financial and balance sheet restructuring assignments.
